Privacy Policy

Short and honest: this site collects as little as possible.

This is a courtesy translation. The legally binding version is the German Datenschutzerklärung.

Protecting your data matters to me. This notice informs you pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR about the processing of personal data when visiting this website.

E-mail: kontakt@nurdistan.de

2. Access data / server log files

When the website is accessed, the host automatically processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, file requested, volume transferred, browser type and operating system, referrer if any). The purpose is to deliver the page and ensure stability and security. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). This data is stored only briefly and then deleted.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts, scripts and styles are loaded solely from our own server — no external content (e.g. from CDNs) is embedded, so no data is transferred to third parties.

4. Local browser storage

For convenience, your browser’s localStorage is used: the chosen display mode (light/dark), preferred language and — if you play the tongue-in-cheek „citizenship test“ — the fun certificate generated there (name, generated citizen number, date). This information stays solely in your browser, is not transmitted to any server and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.

5. Contact form

On submission, the contact form opens your local e-mail program and hands the details you entered (name, message, optionally your e-mail address) to it as a prepared e-mail to kontakt@nurdistan.de. No server-side storage takes place on this website; sending happens only through your own e-mail program. Your message is processed to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b)/(f) GDPR) and deleted once it has been dealt with.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
